US hardcore band 'Converge' reacts after Filipinos mistakenly complains to them over slow internet service

 U.S. based rock band Converge apparently shocked after their official Facebook page was flooded with fiery complaints from Filipinos over a slow internet service connection.





It appeared that the hardcore punk band has been mistaken to be the Philippines' internet provider. 







Following the massive volume of complaints, the band clarify that their page has nothing to do with Philippines' internet provider 'Converge'.




"Hey everyone... still just a hardcore band over here. Covid has not forced us to become an internet provider in the Philippines yet, but we hope everyone over there gets their internet access back. While you’re here though click the link to our webstore and grab yourself a cool T-shirt or something.  ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚," Converge said in a statement posted on their Facebook page.

The post came along with a screenshot of comments made by despirated netizens who mistakenly taking their complaints to incorrect Facebook page. 




Some have apologized to the band for the mistake. 




Converge was formed by vocalist Jacob Bannon and guitarist Kurt Ballou in Salem, Massachusetts in 1990
