This futuristic flight with fancy flying cars in the United Kingdom will begin the sooner than we think as a pioneer in the world. With the government support for the programme, the first airport for the electric flying cars is built in Coventry, a city in England, the project called Air-One airport is set to be completed by November.
South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai in collaboration with British company Urban Air Portis set to launch the pop-up airport. The airport will serve as a take-off and landing point for flying cars, air taxis and autonomous drones.
"Urban Air Port develops fully autonomous innovative zero emission infrastructure for future air mobility. The ambitious Air-One project will bring industry, government and the public together to demonstrate how to unlock the potential of sustainable urban air mobility to reduce congestion, cut air pollution and holistically decarbonise transport while providing seamless passenger journeys and deliveries," Hyundai website read.

The government grant the project with £1.2m, which has been matched by Hyundai, and is expected to open in November.

Urban Air Port will improve connectivity across our cities, boost productivity and help the UK to take the lead in a whole new clean global economy.
"Flying cars used to be a futuristic flight of fancy. Air-One will bring clean urban air transport to the masses and unleash a new airborne world of zero emission mobility."
In the Hyundai website, it demonstrated how future air taxis and cargo drones will going to integrate with existing infrastructure that can be installed at multiple points around the city.
