K-pop fans in United Arab Emirates (UAE) rejoice!
Girl group Mamamoo, BIG, Astro, NCT Dream, The Boyz and aespa will perform in a virtual concert for fans in the United Arab Emirates on April 2. The event organized by the UAE Ministry of Culture and Youth is part of the 'Korea-UAE Festival'.
The 90-minute celebration of K-pop in the country will be streamed on KCC UAE's YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, BTS fans have been raising a chorus to bring the boy band to UAE for years.
“The“ Korea-UAE K-Pop Festival ”was organized as part of the Korea-UAE Cultural Dialogue. It is also the cultural event held to celebrate the UAE’s Golden Jubilee marking the UAE’s 50th anniversary, ”NAM Chan-woo, director of the Korea Cultural Center (KCC) in the UAE, told Gulf News.
