The University of Sto. Tomas (UST) community in Manila has raised Php74,031 for a janitor working in the university who was bitten by his own dog. Bea Aquino, a UST alumna, re-posted Alvin Marbida's social media post who is begging for his medical treatment.
Aquino, on her post, thanked the UST family for their kindness as Alvin was able to recover from terrible experienced. Both of his arms and hands were injured.
"Nakauwi na po si Kuya Alvin around 4 am from San Lazaro Hospital po. Babalik po siya for shots ulit sa Feb 27. Nabayaran na din po yung bills niya and he is now at home recovering. However, di niya po magalaw kamay niya kasi baka may nerve daw po na natamaan," she said.
