Look: Community pantry initiative unlock the spirit of generosity as it reached Panay and Negros

 The successful launched of "Maginhawa community pantry" in Quezon City has took social media attention that even inspired others to do so during this trying times. The pantry of sharing initiative has spurred Filipinos willingness to help out those in need.






The idea behind the Community Pantry of Sharing is simple and inspiring - "Give what you can, take what you need." The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been felt throughout the country, especially to those people who are now jobless and homeless.





When photos about the initiative started circulating on social media, many people and organization in the country were inspired to embrace the concept to help their community. In a matter of days, a number pantries has been opened from nearby provinces and even the other parts of the Philippines - thanked to Ana Patricia Non for sharing the idea of a true bayanihan spirit.







Mayor Jerry Treñas of Iloilo City also shared to his Facebook page the first Community Pantry initiative and encourage more communities to do so.
