This Nintendo Wii 24K gold created for Queen Elizabeth II is up for sale at P14.5-million on eBay

 Whoa, this 24K gold plated Nintendo Wii which was made for Queen Elizabeth II is now up for sale on eBay. If ever that you feel like you need a little more extra-luxurious and fit your personality, this bougie gamer dream is yours as long as you have at least P14.5-million ($300,000).





Back in 2009, this sixth-generation golden console was given to Her Majesty by video game company THQ as a gift, and part of the company's marketing strategy to promote its latest BIG Family Games.





“The Royal Family is arguably the most important family in the country so we felt that they had to have a copy of the new game. But we thought that Her Majesty the Queen wouldn’t want to play on any old console, so an extra special gold one was commissioned. We hope that she and the rest of the Royal Family enjoy the game!” THQ wrote in a 2009 statement.






Her Majesty was reportedly took the console and said that she apparently liking for Wii bowling, according to People Make Games.







Several years later the golden Wii eventually discovered into the hands of low profile collector Donny Fillerup after putting the precious console up for sale. He noted on his eBay post that the "item has been in my possession for quite some time now. In 2009 THQ made a promo item for the Queen of the England and created the by now world famous 24 Karat golden Nintendo Wii console," he said.




"The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended," he added.
