Russian YouTuber sentenced to 6 years in prison after girlfriend dies in cold during paid livestream

 Popular Russian streamer Stanislav Reshetnyak  a.k.a Stas Reeflay was sentenced to six years in prison after it appeared that he abused his girlfriend during a livestream by forcing her outside in the cold, where she died of hypothermia. 







The abuse was done on a different platform where viewers paid him to do the horrifying video in December 2020, until now the disturbing video still gaining attention on YouTube.





His girlfriend Valentina Grigoryeva appeared wearing only underwear when she was forced to stay at the balcony in freezing temperature. Reshetnyak seemingly got panicked when he realized that she wasn't breathing, "Guys... no pulse... she's pale. She is not breathing."




One of the viewers called a medic for emergency situation, and the livestream continued until the ambulance arrived - they pronounced her dead.  






After the investigation, it was revealed that Grigoryeva died from head injury. Authorities also found traumatic brain injury, cerebral hemorrhage, and multiple bruises on her body, according to Moscow Times.







He will be sent to a "maximum-security prison colony" according to TASS, a state-owned media in Russia.




Reshetnyak, who participated in the "trash-streaming" trend had testified before the court and admitted of beating his girlfriend. He was convicted of "intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, dangerous to human life, committed with the use of an object used as a weapon, resulting in the death of the victim by negligence."
