MSU Marawi - Two students were shot dead inside the Mindanao State University (MSU) campus in Barangay Cadayonan II, September 14. The victims are identified as Omar Maruhom Zainal, 23, and engineering student and Hamza Rauf, 24, a student of the College of Sports, Physical Education.
According to reports, the hired killer casually approached the two while at a pathway near the graduate school building of the university and repeatedly shot them, both suffered multiple gunshot wounds and instantly died.
The two unidentified men were seen onboard a black motorcycle without plate number.
Both students were resident of Baloi town, Lanao del Norte.
The Marawi City police office had also been directed to tap the help of school officials in identifying the culprits, Brig. Gen Eden Ugale, director of the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region said.
