Raffy Tulfo loses hundreds of thousands of subscribers on YouTube after ABS-CBN remarks

Raffy Tulfo has lost more subscribers on his YouTube channel after his recent remarks were taken offense by some of his followers over the weekend.

On Monday, September 20, Tulfo recalled his guesting on "ASAP NATIN To."

"Syempre walang nagsasalita sakanila tahimik makikita ko na malungkot. Dati-rati nag-guest na ako sa ABS-CBN noon pa marami pa ang masaya.  Kung kayo's nalulungkot, wag kayo malungkot dahil 10 months - kasi 10,000 ang nawalan ng trabaho. Pwedeng baka sabihin ni Lord 10 months okay na ulit diba?" said Tulfo.

A netizen uploaded a clip of his appearance on TikTok, and his remarks were quickly shared on social media before it was deleted in his channel.

Others alleged that Tulfo's remarks were against President Rodrigo Duterte.

"Kumbaga magbabanggaan ang 16 million versus 42 million subscribers. Kung i-combine mo pa baka 50 million versus 16 million. Ano mas marami 'don?," he added.

Some were quick to retaliate by unsubsribing to his YouTube channel.

The "Raffy Tulfo in Action" channel immediately felt the hit by lossing almost 400k subscribers.

From 22.1 million, it's now down to 21.8 million.

Raffy Tulfo has yet to issue a statement in response to the social media backlash.
