Carlos Yulo wins gold medal for World Championship Vault finals

 Carlos Yulo has regain his world champion title after he bagged a gold medal in men's vault at the 2021 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Sunday at Kitakyushu City Gymnasium in Japan.




Yulo, 21, scored an average of 14.916 from 14.800 for his first gymnast attempt, followed by 15.033 in the second.



It is a total redemption following his lost in the floor exercise on Saturday due to a costly penalty.





The two-time world champion recorded the highest score as he execute with 9.433 in his winning attempt.



Yonekura Hidenobu bagged the silver medal after securing an average of 14.866 (15.000, 14.733) while Israel's Andrey Medvedev secured the bronze medal at 14.649 (14.533, 14.766).




Meanwhile, Italy's Thomas Grasso landed on the fourth spot after having a score of 14.549 (14.833, 14.266).
