Kobe Paras made an impressive debut in Japan B. League for Niigata as he completed 25 points including 4 treys and 2 steals on Saturday.
However, his performance has fell short to save his team Niigata Arbirex BB from 85-81 defeat to Kyoto Hannaryz.
In the opening quarter, Paras scored 11 of Niigata's 19-point before they outscored Kyoto in the second period, 31-10, to establish a 50-41 halftime.
Paras and the Albires BB failed to sustain their momentum on the period of time as Hannaryz went on a huge 10-1 run lead by 8, 76-68, with 7:39 left to play.
David Simon led Kyoto with overall effort of 28 points, two steals and two blocks.
