Ben&Ben's member Paolo Guico pays tribute to a fan who died in QC fire

 Paolo Guico has paid tribute to a fan who died from a fire that broke in Novaliches, QC. The OPM band Ben&Ben shared a video of Paolo playing the guitar and singing their hit songs "Leaves" and "Magpahinga". Melanie Trinidad is a 21-year-old graduating student from PUP Sta. Mesa.

"A tribute for Melanie, isang Liwanag sa ating lahat," the post begin.

"Si Melanie ay isang estudyanteng namayapa dalawang araw na ang nakalipas. Biktima siya ng sunog na nangyari sa Novaliches, QC. 

"Nakausap namin yung mga malapit kay Mels, at hanggang sa huli, ang pinaglaban niya pa rin ay yung kapakanan ng mga mahal niya sa buhay, at yung pag-aaral at kinabukasan niya. Thank you for your bravery and compassion, Melanie. 

"You'll live on forever through the people whose lives you've touched.

"Liwanag si Melanie. Kaya sa huling pagkakataon, pumunta kami sa service niya para makiramay at maghandog ng iilang mga awit. Let's all pray for the repose of her soul," the post read.

Netizens also left comments of sympathy to the bereaved love ones of the student, as well as praised to the band's effort to help the family of Melanie.
