ARMI MILLARE LEAVES UP DHARMA DOWN AFTER 17 YEARS

OPM band Up Dharma Down (UDD) announced via Facebook post that Armi Millare, the group vocalist-keyboardist has left the band to pursue her solo career.




"We thank her for sharing her talent and artistry in the songs we created together. We'll never forget how the four of us started out, how thrilled we were in 2004 to finally be playing at Saguijo to a crowd of twenty people," the post read.



Although we're sad to see her leave the band, we wish her all the best as she embarks on her solo career. And we hope you can all support her future projects as well.

The post continue by saying, "will continue to make music under Terno Recordings. This will be a new and different adventure for us and we hope you can be a part of it too."




Remaining members  Carlos Tañada, Ean Mayor, and Paul Yap thanked their fans for their support after "17 years, 4 albums, and thousands of gigs."



UDharmaDown debuted in 2004 with "Tadhana","Indak" and their signature hit "Oo".



Meanwhile, Armi, posted on Instagram that as much as she can she wanted to keep her decision in private. She said she owed the announcement to their fans who have been supporting them through the years.
