This two fraternal twins Alfredo and Ailyn Trujillo are the most unique twins ever born in two different years, just only 15-minutes apart.
According to the Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California, baby Alfredo was born at 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2021 while his sister, Ailyn, entered the world at exactly 12 midnight of Jan. 1, 2022. This makes their birthdays not just fall on different months and days, but in different years.
"It's crazy to me that they are twins and have different birthdays. I was surprised and happy that she Ailyn arrived at midnight," the twins' mother Fatima Madrigal said.
The newly born twins join three older siblings, two girls and a boy.
According to the hospital, the twins who born with different birthdays are rare with, adding that chances of them being born in different years as one in two million.
