Barbie Imperial has confirmed break up with actor Diego Loyzaga after a year in a relationship.
After a months of speculations of their breakup, finally The Goodbye Girl actress confirmed the news via MJ Felipe that she have split up with Diego on good terms.
Barbie talked about the lessons that she have learned in love.
"Natutunan ko na baka kaya pauli-ulit na nangyayari sa akin 'to kasi hindi ko minamahal yung sarili ko," she said.
"Kasi it's like all the same stories each boyfriend, so for me, parang what if ibahin ko ngayon? Sarili ko naman ang mahalin ko?" she added.
Their relationship was challenged after social media personality Xian Gaza remarks resurfaced on social media seemed to suggest that Diego was cheating on Barbie with actress AJ Raval. It was also followed by Barbie Imperial's statement defending Diego, saying that all the allegations against him were not true.
Last December 2021, Barbie and Diego celebrated their first anniversary in an intimate celebration held in Pangasinan.
