One of the Philippines toughest examination has finally held after it was moved several times due to the COVID pandemic.
A total of 11,378 examinees of the 2020-2021 Bar examination showed up to took the exams in 31 local test centers at 21 local government on Friday, February 4.

Out of the 11,378 examinees, 11,790 or 96.55 turn out paid for the application to take the exam, Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen revealed. This year's exam is said to have the largest examinees because of a combined two (2) batches (2020-2021) took the exam.
“Easily, this is the largest batch of bar examinees and it is the batch that would fulfill the lack of new lawyers that happened during the last two years because of the pandemic,” Leonen said.

Meanwhile, there are at least 21 law graduates in Zamboanga and Cagayan de Oro were barred from taking the exam after they tested positive for COVID-19.
