Anyone who watches the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) would say that these three ladies are the original hosts, Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez Padilla and Bianca Gonzalez.
Over the week Toni Gonzaga became the hot topic online after she hosted the proclamation rally of her wedding godfather Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte. Her endorsements drew much praise but also a fierce backlash.
Following the earlier report from ABS-CBN's reporter MJ Felipe which Toni later confirmed that she will no longer hosting the Pinoy Big Brother reality game show, the actress-host received love and support from Bianca Gonzalez and Mariel Rodriguez.
"I love you Toni. You are a friend and a sister FOREVER. Welcome to the outside world, toni," Mariel said in a comment section of Toni's Instagram post.
Meanwhile, Bianca also shared a look back on how they work together as co-hosts in the show and considered Toni as her sister.
"I think malaking bagay talaga 'yung daily work together for how many years. Pero siguro 'yung parang nagpa-crossover from just workmates to sisters, one is siyempre 'yung mga life milestone natin. Halos sabay-sabay in different years lang," said Bianca.
"Dati mga heartbreak, mga iniwan, mga nasawi tapos nakahanap ng bagong pag-ibig, nakahanap ng 'the one,' kinasal, nagkaanak, magkakasunod 'yun eh," she added.
Toni, on Wednesday, February 9, took to Instagram and shared her decision to step down as the main host of Pinoy Big Brother after 16-years.
"It has been my greatest honor to host PBB for 16 years," she said.
"From witnessing all my co-hosts transition from housemate to PBB hosts are just some of the best moments in my life sa bahay ni Kuya!
"Today, I'm stepping down as your main host," she added.
