A heartbreaking video captured a Ukranian father shed tears as he sent his family to a safe zone and bid farewell to his daughter as he was required to defend his country.
The video has since went viral as the father is making a tearful farewell while he embraced his little girl.
Both were seen sobbing as they were separated without assurance and definite period of time they will meet again.
The Ukranian government have banned men between ages 18 to 60 years old leaving the country amidst ongoing Russian invasion. The temporary ban will remain in force throughout the duration of martial law declared on Thursday.
The Russian invasion began in the early morning hours on Thursday, with raining missiles hit deep into Ukraine.
People started panic buying earlier on Thursday as banks, shops and gas stations started to empty. The UN Refugee Agency said 100,000 people have so far been forced to flee their homes with thousands leaving the country.
