ELDERLY PINAY BEATEN MORE THAN 100 TIMES IN NEW YORK

 A 67-year-old Filipina, wearing a white face mask and dark hooded jacket was hit more than 100 times in an alleged hate crime in New York City.




In a horrifying video captured by a security camera it shows an elderly pushing a shopping cart enters an apartment building when a man appears at her back, struck her in the head at least 125 times followed by seven strong kicks. 




The woman suffered bleeding in her brain, broken bones in her face with numerous cuts  is now recovering in the hospital. 



The attacker identified as Tammel Esco, 42, will face charges for attempted murder due to hate crime. He has been arrested 14 times and convicted multiple times.




According to the Philippine Consulate in New York Consul, the elderly was the third Filipino victim of anti-Asian hate crime in New York in just one week.




“I was really shocked, ‘no at horrified with this latest incident,” Philippine Consulate in New York Consul General Elmer Cato told GMA News.



“Feeling ng community kasi, takot na takot ‘yung ating mga kababayan lalong-lalo na ‘yung matatanda, ayaw na nilang mag-subway. So, they’re afraid to go out of their houses,” Cato added.
