Actress Ana Jalandoni reportedly rescued by police after receiving a call from a hotel in Tagaytay that she asked for urgent help.
In a tweet, Nico Baua of ABS-CBN News said: "Authorities were alerted after Jalandoni pleaded for help from her friends and sent a picture of herself. She was allegedly detained and injured by her boyfriend, actor, Kit Thompson."
Reports said that Thompson is now under police custody for further investigation.
Meanwhile, Jalandoni, girlfriend of actor and former PBB housemate Kit Thompson, took to Instagram after the news broke out that she as allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend on Friday, March 18, 2022.
She said that she will release a statement on the issue soon.
"When you love someone you will never ever harm them. Minahal mo ba talaga? This is me saying, you all should be careful out there. I can't reply to all of you right now but thank you for checking up on me. I will release a statement soon," she wrote on Instagram.
The two announced their relationship last December 2021.
