Quitting is not an option to people really wanted something for their life.
This mother and daughter duo identified as Nicole Ann Ponce and Glenda Ponce from Cebu City has unlocked their life's goal as they both passed the 2020-2021 Bar examination together.

They are just some of the few that once dreamed of one day they will finish their law school and becoming a lawyer, after years of hard work and dedication.
"I am extremely jet lagged while writing this. Because like everything else in my life, nothing is ever simple or easy. I just arrived at the JFK airport in New York when the bar results came in," said Nicole Ann.
"I was not even out of immigration when I received news that I passed!"
"The first thing I thought was my mom. What about Mama, did she pass?! My heart was beating fast and with shaky fingers (it was really cold) I scrolled thru the list of passers. And there it was… both our names.

To say Ponce's path to success has been a long, winding journey filled with patience and perseverance would be an understatement.

Nicole Ann, who graduated at the University of San Carlos School of Law described her 58-year-old mom as a "superwoman" - a licensed civil engineer, masters in public administration in profession, and now an Attorney.
"In her early 50s mama decided to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. I remember how she would get home late after long hours in law school and working full time during the day," she said.
She now hopes to inspire others to keep pushing even when times get hard and all hope seems to be lost.
"Today, we celebrate our Mama Glenda and all the DREAMERS who refuse to give up on their dreams. It’s never too late. And you are never too old (or too young). Go get that degree or whatever it is your heart desires the most."
