The finale episode of the longest-running teleserye "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" which was watched by viewers on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z Channel 11, TV5, and other social media platforms of ABS-CBN went viral on Friday, August 12.

Speaking of the avid viewer from day 1, netizen Jan Gutierrez, 33, from Los Baños, Laguna, awarded her father, Mang Jaime A. Gutierrez, 68 years old, for following the longest-running teleserye, which started in September 2015.

Jan Guiterrez shared her Facebook post, Friday night, August 12 a photo of Mang Jaime while carrying the certificate. It can also be seen on a television in the background while watching the finale episode on A2Z Channel 11.

"Congratulations, Papa! For successfully completing all episodes of 'Ang Probinsyano'. You will receive the Certificate of Completion. Haha!” said Jan on his Facebook post.

Based on Balita Online's exclusive interview with Jan, her father is a retired soldier, so it is related to the story of Ricardo Dalisay.

She said that her Papa did not miss a moment following such a series that took seven years.

"He tracked all episodes. The other episodes in the series are relatable to him," said Jan.

Coco Martin (Cardo Dalisay) is said to be her father's idol, and if given the chance, he would like to meet the director-star.

Mang Jaime was affected by the gradual fall of the members of Task Force Agila until only Cardo was left. It seems that he remembered his experience when he was still on duty, where they were ambushed by some members of the New People's Army or NPA and he was the only one who was lucky to survive.

"He already had an encounter with the NPAs. Their group was ambushed on the mountain. He was the only one who survived."-said Jan.

"Papa is having separation anxiety (separation anxiety). He said he can't watch anything anymore," Jan said now the series has already ended.

Mang Jaime called for Coco and ABS-CBN, "I hope Coco Martin has another show. Papa will support them again".

The concurrent views of the series hit more than 500K on Kapamilya Online Live's YouTube channel alone. The tweets and social media posts about the series are unstoppable. It is proof that viewers are paying attention, especially those who have followed since day 1.
