FIL-AM MIXED MARTIAL ARTIST RO MALABANAN TAKE DOWN ATTACKER WHO ASSAULTED SIX IN NEW YORK CITY

 Ro Malabanan, a Filipino American mixed martial artist subdued a violent attacker on six men in New York City on Wednesday, July 27.





According to Ro, he was on his way to work when the homeless African American man, identified as 28-year-old Samuel Frazier, assaulted the six men along Broadway in Soho. He saw the suspeck sucker-punch a construction worker before running away. 




"I just got out of the subway and I was on Broadway and Prince, heading to work and two guys who were walking towards me, a third guy showed up out of nowhere, just sucker punched one of the guys and punched him on the side of his face," Ro said in his Instagram post.




"And the guy that punched him in the face was walking towards me, and I got my eye on him to make sure obviously he doesn't try anything on me so he passed me," he added.



Malabanan, who is a black-belter in jiu jitsu chased the attacker and put him down as he was worried the suspect would attack someone else.



The police came after he pinned him down with the help of other men. Ro's good deeds were captured on video which quickly went viral online.



Ro was born in the Philippines and migrated to the US when he was nine. He cautioned others to kept vigilant while on streets as a "lot of crazies out there right now in the streets so please be careful."



The police is now under police custody.
