Before the opening of class for the school year 2022-2023, the Department of Education had a Brigada Eskwela program where parents, students, and stakeholders helped to clean the school for the students.
The spirit of Bayanihan is happening before the reopening of schools for the school year approaches, better known as “Brigada Eskwela.”
Since it is still pandemic, a classroom must be clean when the students return to school.
Aside from keeping the environment clean, we can also see teachers and volunteers painting and structuring the classroom to encourage students to come to school.
One of the volunteers is an incredible firefighter from Zamboanga Del Norte. Teacher Cyrell Jones Sidlao from Buyos Elementary School in Sindangan, Zamboanga Del Norte, is very grateful for the kindness of a firefighter volunteer who created a table for the SPED learners. It is a big help for the learners since most of them have special needs.

Nakakataba ng puso na ang Simpleng Hiling kong magkaroon ng Table for Learners with Special Needs ay tinupad ng isang Bombero & netizens. Tinanong ko kung bakit siya ang nag-volunteer na gumawa ng table. Pagmamahal sa mga bata, tulong sa kapwa at libangan ang nagtulak sa kaniya para gumawa ng table na walang bayad. The amazing firefighter is SFO1 Paul Nelson A. Galit, Chief Officer of the Intelligence and Investigation Section at the Sindangan Municipal Fire Station, Barangay La Roche, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.
