Apple security flaw could allow hackers to control a users iPhones. Experts says users should update their software iOS 15.6.1 now.
Apple released two security reports about the issue on Wednesday. Apple said the vulnerability affects iPhones dating back to the 6S model, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, all iPad Pro models and the 7th generation iPod touch.
It says the vulnerabilities give hackers "full admin access" to the device.
Intruders could impersonate the device's owner and subsequently run any software in their name.
How to update iOS 15.6.1?
Go to Settings > General > Software Update. Click on the iOS 15.6.1 update and install it.
How to update macOS 12.5.1?
Before updating you Mac's operating system it's good to do a back up first.
To do this, got to System Preferences and then to Time Machine. Click Select Backup Disk.
Once done, backed up your Mac, click the Apple logo in the top left of your screen and then hit System Preferences. From there click Software Update.
