A Filipino-American identified as Kene Brian Lazo, the man carrying a mighty 'walis tambo' during a riot on January 6 in the U.S. capitol has been sentenced to 45 days jail term on Thursday (August 18).
Lazo was among the thousands of supporters of former US President Donald Trump who trooped inside the capitol.
The group has violently breached the place as Congress is in session to certify the results of the 2020 election which declared Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the winner.
He was identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation through social media posts. The attack has resulted in the deaths of five persons and injury.
In his Facebook post, he said he is "going to stand for America," and after, he wrote, he "took a boi boi to the Capitol and swept the floor literally."
He has since regret over his participation on the attack.
