A Tagum City social media influencer could lose her driver's license after she did the viral "ligo challenge" while riding her motorcycle.
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) took action about the video circulated on social media involving a woman in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
"The influencer was informed of her violation and awaits administrative sanctions after the exhaustion of the legal process," said LTO Region XI.
The "Ligo Challenge" is a challenge of taking a bath in any possible way, in any place and any time.
The investigation came after the LTO-Davao received a report from the Highway Patrol Group-Davao Region (HPG-Davao) with regards to the viral challenge video.
"It's scary, someone could get hurt and there are consequences," a comment said.
The HPG advised the motorists to not do any challenge while driving.
According to authorities, reckless driving offense will cost P2,078 fine and needs to attend their Comprehensive Driver's Education seminar.
