A newborn in Pulupandan, Negros Occidental was declared dead by his parents but was later discovered to be alive hours after he was buried in the cemetery.
The baby was brought to the cemetery at 6:30AM by his parents and was buried with the helped of the caretaker, according to local news reports.
However, around 10:00AM, the caretaker has been hearing a crying baby and he was quick to break the tomb. To his surprise he found a baby alive.
The incident was reported to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and also reported to the police for investigation. Police Captain Ryan Villasario of Pulupandan Municipal Police Station has confirmed the news.
But the police was doubt, saying, how come the parents never knew their baby was alive.
The parents also can't believe to what happened as they claimed the baby was dead before they decided to send him in his final place.
