The body of the newly buried woman was discovered dug up by still unidentified persons in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The corpse of the 63-year-old was reported to the police and believed that it was sexually molested.
According to Kabankalan City Police Chief Lieutenent Colonel Raymond Cruz, the incident was discovered Monday Morning, August 29, 2022. Cruz said that the woman's nephew, Ricky Aguillar, reported the incident. It said that the body of his aunt, Gloria Padrigo was excavated from her grave at the public cemetery.
Report says that Padriga was buried on Sunday afternoon, August 28. Then, Aguilar told police that he and other relatives was supposed to visit their aunt's grave on the next day but they were greeted by the naked body beside the grave.
Police are also investigating with relatives if the body has missing jewelry.
