SILIMAN UNIVERSITY SENIOR HIGH STUDENT WINS FULL SCHOLARSHIP FROM PRINCETON UNIVERSITY

 Enzo Miguel Kho, a youth development advocate from Dumaguete City has been chosen to study at the top 10-ranked Princeton University. It will cover his full journey, from accommodation to tuition fees - an offer that will give hope for his future.




Enzo, who graduated from Holy Cross High School and Siliman University Senior High School (SUSHS) is set to leave the country for the United States this August 2022.




Kho on his Facebook post revealed that he was showered with five prestigious universities in full scholarship but Princeton was in his heart, a home to some of the world's most influential people such as Jeff Bezos, Michelle Obama, John F. Kennedy and more.



"At the same time, one of the leading poverty researchers in the US (Kathryn Edin) teaches here (of which I’m looking forward to working on a research project soon)! All in all, I have accumulated more than 1.5 million dollars in scholarships! (THAT BIG!)," he said.




Kho who was interested in studying abroad since his 10th grade is planning to major in Public and International Affairs.



The scholarship grant shall cover the yearly expenses amounting to $82,000 dollars —roughly 4.2 million pesos.
