VIRAL: P26K WORTH OF FOOD IN THE TOURISTS DESTINATION OF BOHOL

 The alleged overcharged food ordered by tourists in one of the popular tourist destinations in Bohol, the Virgin Island is now viral on social media. 



Many netizens were shocked to see Vilma Uy’s viral post where she said, “Ingon ani diay kamahal ang pagkain sa Virgin Island, Bohol (Is the food in Virgin Island really this expensive?).”




In Vilma Uy’s Facebook post, you can see the photos of the food that her friends ate and were surprised to see the handwritten receipt on the paper where the price and total amount paid by her friends is worth 26, 100. 




She added: “Just airing the sentiments of my friends who recently enjoyed their vacation in Bohol. But they were very surprised to see their bill, which was even more expensive than Hennan Resort. Please note, they are only 13 pax.” 







Many netizens reacted to the viral post.





The local government in Panglao, Bohol has been alarmed of the issue of overpriced food purchased from tourists that are allegedly sold by group vendors. So far, the Panglao Tourist Officer has set the meeting with the group vendors to clarify the issue.




Vilma Uy expressed her feelings after her viral post that she has no intention of defaming the said tourists’ destination. She wants people to be aware, especially those with limited budgets.
