Filipina actress, TV host and model Francesca Taruc has come under fire for a 'coincidence' remark she made for Gilas Pilipinas player Dwigth Ramos.
It all started when Taruc greeted the Gilas player a happy birthday along with a series of exchange comment.
One of her comments in response to a person in the comments section: "GILAS PILIPINAS SIYA, BINIBINING PILIPINAS AKO. hmmmm coincidence?"
She also detailed some of the occurrence that appears they both the same, "24 years old sya today, 24 ako. Binibini 24 ako, Player #24 siya. Wala ako sinasabing soincidence ate ha," she wrote.
Ramos is in a steady relationship with volleyball star Kianna Dy. In an Instagram post on Thursday, Dy shared a photo of the two of them with the caption, "HBD ILYSM."
The two celebrated their anniversary in June 13 as partners.
Dy is part of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation pool for the upcoming Asian Club Volleyball in Thailand. While the 6-foot-4 Ramos is set to play in the B. League starting October with his new team, Levanga Hokkaido.
