Ivana Alawi's youngest sister and former child star Mona Alawi doesn't have a grand debut.
Mona preferred celebrating her 18th birthday with her family at an intimate and simple party.
In a vlog that Ivana share, she gave a glimpse to the public of what happened during the celebration of Mona's debut.
It is said that Mona wants to celebrate a simple birthday on her debut with her family.
Because Mona just wanted a simple celebration, they went to a Vineyard in Batangas. They held what they thought would be a pajama party.

According to sister Ivana Alawi, her sister Mona is very kind and humble.
"Ang cute lang, napaka humble niya guys at sobrang bait na bata...Natuwa lang ako sa kanya kasi ayaw niya gumastos sa party," expressed Ivana Alawi on her vlog.
Ivana also shared that she told her sister that she can celebrate her birthday in Korea. She wants her sister to enjoy but Mona doesn't want to.
Mona also said she doesn't want to enjoy herself without her sister Ivana.
"Kami mag-eenjoy tapos ikaw wala."
Ivana then asked Mona what she wanted for her birthday?
Mona replied,“Basta sama-sama tayo, makatulong, gusto ko. If puwede, to help kids, ‘yung mga sick kids, kasi I’ve been there and I’m still there, I’m still getting better and since we have the means to do so I really want to help yung other sick kids.”

In addition, Ivan Alawi asked why her sister prefers not to have a big party?
“Nanghihinayang lang ako kasi you know we could use the money to help other people and at the same time, I’m really really happy.", Mona answered.
“I have nothing against big parties, that’s nice. Pero ako kasi okay na ako sa tayo-tayo lang kahit small party as long as we are together masaya na ako roon,” Mona added.
Mona was happy even though her 18th birthday was not a big party. Mona said she doesn't want a grand celebration in life as long as the whole family is together and lends a hand to help others.
Of course, apart from Ivana and Mona, their mother Fatima and brother Hash were also there. They shared a cloud-themed dinner they prepared for Mona.
The debutante also enjoyed the magnificent fireworks display that Ivana organized for her sister's special day.
Ivana said in her vlog that she was very proud of Mona because she chose to share the money that would have been spent on her debut with children like her who have illnesses.
Mona was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at a young age.
