Broadcaster Anthony Taberna or popularly known as 'Ka Tunying' has went viral on Twitter following his recent remarks for the critics of TV host Toni Gonzaga.
After some netizens call for boycott to an online shop for tapping Toni, 'Ka Tunying' has found himself in hot water as critics appeared to be changing their target.
On his YouTube channel on September 29, Tonying, criticized those people whom he reffered as 'Kakampinks'.
"hindi pa ba kayo nakaka-move on sa matindi at kahiya-hiyang pagkatalo ng manok n'yo? Dapat tapos na yun, tapos na yun. Puwede ba tama na? Sinasaktan n'yo lang ang sarili n'yo," he added.
Massive social media users were outraged over the weekend after they discovered a famous online shop tapped Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga to be their newest endorser.
"Wala kayong kadala-dala...'yang boycott-boycott n'yo na 'yan malaking kalokohan 'yan... dahil marami nang Pilipino ang nabu-buwiset sa boycott, boycott i-style n'yo na 'yan," he said.
Meanwhile, Toni and Tonying massive fan following on social media, has remained silent while others came to their defense.
"Tunying Taberna was one the first victims of Kakampink's cancel culture. The same results, their boycott did not prosper. Here is the thing, destroying someone's livelihood is hard to forgive. You can't blame his anger," a Twitter post read.
