Modern transport operators in Bacolod has partnered with beep operator AF Payments Inc. to introduce an automated fare collection system in modern jeepneys in the city of smiles.
This cashless payment system tool will make every commuters life easier and hassle-free.
The beep card is currently available in MBMJ and UY Transport Services, Inc. plying (Alijis-Central Market and Bata - Libertad), as well as RSJ Lines, Inc. (plying PHHC Homesite - Central Market).
Commuters regularly traveling these routes have started enjoying more efficient, contactless fare payments. They can be able monitor their spending and earn rewards by registering their card to the beep app.
Currently the smart card's functionality has expanded to include rewards points that can be converted to load to be used as fare payment in LRT1, LRT2, MRT3, city buses, modern jeepneys, and the entire beep network.
Rewards points can also be used to purchase items from Ministops and soon, more retailers will be accepting the rewards points. At present, every 200 points are converted to PHP1 worth of beep load in the app.
