An actor, Jason Abalos, and his wife, a former beauty queen Vickie Rushton have completed the basic citizen military course and are now both reservists of the Philippine Navy.
Jason Abalos proudly shared a photo with his wife wearing a Philippine Navy uniform. In his Instagram, the actor captioned his post "Always better together! I'm so proud of my wife for doing this. We are now officially Philippine Navy Reservists! Hooyah!
Last September 13, both were spotted as part of the Philippine Navy at the National Simultaneous Bamboo and Tree Planting Kick-off Ceremony in the presence of President Bongbong Marcos.

I know, for sure, that it is always easier said than done but what is worth doing to have a meaningful and purposeful life is inevitably challenging. This is way out of my comfort zone. I have discovered many things about myself and one of which is my strength.
I’ve always believed that there was something bigger and greater for me. After some closed doors, I’ve been contemplating what to do next. I think we are all seeking the same thing - our life’s purpose.
This is by far the highest and most meaningful achievement I received in my life. Honestly, I just wanted to work with different organizations where I can help and serve but who would have thought that I will be a full-fledged Philippine Navy Reservist? 🥹
Thank you, Lord, for giving us all the strength to keep going and continue what we have started. Thank you for surrounding us with the right people to guide, help, and teach us.

To my batchmates, 🥹 eto na ngaaa. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. Willing ako ulitin lahat ng ito kung kayo pa din ang kasama ko. I really looked forward to our trainings. First day pa lang, alam niyo naaa haha! Nakakalimutan ang pagod dahil sa saya natin in between trainings at dala-dala pa din natin hanggang sa pag-uwi. Iba ang samahan ng SIKLAB CL 05-22!!! Hooyah!
To my husband, @thejasonabalos, thank you for allowing me to join. It’s nice to share this journey with you 🥰 kahit magkaiba tayo ng class, happy ako na sabay tayo nag graduate.
