Venegas played a piano for his rendition of Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind."
On a YouTube video channel of the American Idol, the three judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie couldn't help but show their reactions with great fondness while the teen performance since the start.

The three gave Venegas a standing ovation and the Platinum Ticket, as the three was impressed.
Lionel said: "Let me tell you, that performance was spot-on professional."
"You sang notes and runs that haven't felt in my body in a long time and I felt so connected," said Katy.
"You are exactly what we look for, what we pray for, and you're there," added by Luke.
The Platinum Ticket allows an artist to skip the first round of competitions during Hollywood Week. It gives them time to assess and prepare for the future events.
Venegas, who was part of The Voice Teens Philippines in 2020, was born and raised in Canada by his Filipino parents.
