A male traveler hilariously showed up at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) completely donned with his graduation toga.
"Ewan ko na lang talaga," uploader Jim Morales captioned his post on social media.
"Nung isang araw nakita ko 'yung nagdala ng diploma to make sure makapasok ssa immigration. Syempre ako po kinkabahan po ako baka marami itanong sa akin so as comedian nagdala po ako ng toga para wala nang tanungan," he explained.
His post came after a TikTok video went viral recounting the terrible experience of a solo female traveler going to Israel where she missed her flight due to the immigration officer's endless questions which include the proof of her graduation. She was asked to show her yearbook photo album.
The Bureau of Immigration, meanwhile, issued an apology to the traveler and clarified to the public that travelers are need only to present their ticket, passport, and supporting documents to the immigration office.
