Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo was shot in Pamplona town on Saturday morning, March 4, 2023.
According to the initial investigations, Degamo was attending to 4Ps beneficiaries at the entrance of his residence when still unidentified men shot the governor several times hitting the latter and some civilians.
The victims were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital
