Gigi De Lana and her bandmates got into a pretty serious accident while traveling from the "Sulong Aurora Event" to the "Himala Sa Buhangin Event in Ilocos Norte" on Sunday, May 14.
But the group decided to continue the show despite the devastating accident that did some serious damage to their van, and fortunately the group sustain minor injury.
"Our band was in a car accident en route to a provincial gig, but all members are safe. The show at Himala sa Buhangin, Paoay, Ilocos Norte tonight, will go on as scheduled. Maraming salamat sa suporta, Ka-Sikanflor, Giginatics and to all of our fans. Mahal namin kayong lahat!" said in their official statement.
"The team received medical clearance from Iloos Training and Regional Medical Center Hospital, and they will continue their journey to tonight's show," the caption read.
The band later explained in a social media post that they had to cancel their performance in Talavera Nueva Ecija tonight Monday, May 15.
" We hope you understand we need to prioritize Gigi's, Oyus, Jon's and our team members recovery after yesterday's unfortunate incident," said in the official statement.
