MILLIONS OF PESOS SPILLS OVER CEBU ROAD AFTER COLLECTOR'S BAG BURST OPEN

 Drivers halted to snatch cash that dispersed on the Cebu South Seaside Street Tuesday morning in Cebu City.

As indicated by authorities, the cash came from a gatherer named, John Mark Barrientos who was traveling via motorcycle.

Drivers along the Cebu South Coastal Road in South Road Properties (SRP) are seen scrambling to get the cash that tumbled off from a collector's bag and was dissipated on the freeway on Tuesday evening, July 4.



He was driving the northward path of the thruway when out of nowhere the sack's zipper opened without anyone else. 



In an interview over the radio broadcast xFm, Barrientos said he was acquiring with him over P4 million money inside his cash pack when the zipper unexpectedly burst open.




He works for a cash remittance center in a shopping center at the SRP and was en route to Mandaue City.

"I saw the cash flying from the side mirror so I halted to get it however at that point others were likewise gathering the cash. Hopefully they return it," he said.

 


 

Around P2 million was gotten back to him.

More than P1 million stay missing, as different drivers and residents got the cash on the road.

Police reports said some have returned piece of the cash.


Police  are reviewing the CCTV cameras nearby to recognize the individuals who took the cash.

Barrientos said, he hope that they will return the money saying, "I don't have cash to pay for everything."
