Socialite-turned-entrepreneur Paris Hilton and her husband, venture capitalist Carter Reum, have expanded their family with the arrival of their second child, a daughter named London.
Hilton shared the heartwarming news on Thanksgiving Day via an Instagram post featuring a photo of a pink baby outfit with the name "London" adorning it, alongside a pair of hot pink heart-shaped sunglasses and a knitted bunny toy. "Thankful for my baby girl," she wrote in the caption, revealing that London, like their first child Phoenix, was born through surrogacy.
The couple's announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulations from celebrity friends and fans alike, including model Naomi Campbell, Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo, and actress Dakota Fanning.
Hilton had previously hinted at her desire to have a daughter named London, often expressing her love for the city. Last September, she playfully teased her younger sister Nicky about the possibility of having a baby girl.
Last month, Hilton passionately defended Phoenix against online criticism surrounding his perceived large head size.
"Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or any one else's for that matter, is unacceptable," she stated firmly. "Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It's hard to fathom that there are people in the world who would target such innocence."
