ABS-CBN management and Star Magic have expressed their support for Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla following their announcement that they have decided to part ways.
"We respect and understand the mutual decision of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla to part ways," the statement read.
The statement also urged fans to respect the privacy of the former couple and to refrain from spreading fake news.
"As they navigate this difficult time, we ask everyone to respect their privacy and allow them to heal and move on," the statement continued.
"ABS-CBN management and Star Magic remain steadfast in our unwavering support for Kathryn and Daniel."
Kathryn and Daniel expressed their gratitude to their loyal fans in separate Instagram posts.
"Kathniels, we know you are hurting, and trust me, this also hurts us both more than you can imagine," Kathryn wrote.
"Kathniels, Maraming salamat sa pag mamahal ninyo. maraming salamat sa napaka gandang pinag samahan natin," Daniel wrote.
The former couple's breakup announcement became a much-talked-about topic on social media, proving the impact they have had on other people's lives.
