Missing Piper plane has been located, according to the Isabela Provincial Information Office

The missing Piper plane was found by the Philippine Air Force at Casala, San Mariano on Tuesday morning, December 5, according to the Isabela Incident Management Team.
 

The plane, which carried the pilot and one passenger, was found in a ravine in Barangay Casala, San Mariano. The wreckage was found scattered along the ravine, according to the team.
 

 


The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) earlier said in a statement that the light plane, which carried the pilot and one passenger, is owned by Fliteline Airways and operated by Cyclone Airways.
 

The plane departed Cauayan Airport in Isabela at 9:39 a.m. on November 30 and was supposed to arrive at Palanan Airport at 10:23 a.m. The plane lost contact with air traffic control shortly after takeoff.
 

A search and rescue operation was launched immediately, and the plane was found on Tuesday morning. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

"The Isabela Incident Management Team is saddened to report that the missing Piper plane has been found. The plane was found in a ravine in Barangay Casala, San Mariano.
