Just days before the confetti rained down on 2024, two lucky Filipinos snagged life-changing jackpots in separate PCSO lottery draws on Friday.
One lucky player in Ligao City, Albay, walked away with a staggering P571,554,916.40 after matching all six numbers in the Ultralotto 6/58 draw (19-35-25-42-58-05). The winning ticket was purchased at a PCSO outlet on Rizal street, instantly turning the holder into a multi-millionaire.
Meanwhile, another fortune smiled upon a bettor in South Cotabato, who accurately guessed the six winning digits (06-12-28-04-16-17) in the Megalotto 6/45 draw, claiming a cool P23,333,389.60 jackpot. The winning ticket was bought at a PCSO outlet in the Sto. Nino Public Terminal on Mercado street.
These lucky strikes weren't limited to the top prizes. In the Ultralotto draw, 40 bettors matched five numbers, winning P120,000 each, while 2,661 others walked away with P2,000 consolation prizes. Similarly, in the Megalotto draw, 131 bettors matched five numbers for P32,000 each, and 4,277 others claimed P1,000 for third-place wins.
