victory in the NCAA Season 100 men's basketball tournament. This
historic win marked EAC's first-ever victory over the defending champion
Red Lions since joining the league in 2009.
San Beda, the defending champions, aim to stay close to the league leader, College of Saint Benilde, as they face EAC. The Lions are currently tied for second place with San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Mapua University, and University of Perpetual Help.
Harvey Pagsanjan led the Generals with 14 points, while JC Luciano and Axel Doromal also contributed significantly to the victory. The win improved EAC's record to 2-2, while San Beda dropped to 2-2.
As both teams look to move forward, EAC will face the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA in their next game, while San Beda will take on Jose Rizal University in an attempt to rebound from their recent loss.
