Justin Soriano Defends Pia Wurtzbach Amidst "Stolen Contacts" Allegations

Makeup artist Justin Soriano has come to the defense of Pia Wurtzbach, refuting allegations that the former Miss Universe winner "stole contacts" to break into the fashion world. Soriano, who has worked with both Wurtzbach and Heart Evangelista, took to Instagram to address the issue, firmly denying the accusations.

In response to an Instagram user who accused Wurtzbach of "cheating," Soriano emphasized that the beauty queen has never engaged in such behavior, particularly regarding contacts. He highlighted that Wurtzbach's glam team, including himself, is solely focused on their professional roles and has no connections to PR officers of fashion brands.

Soriano further clarified that Wurtzbach's presence in the fashion industry dates back to her Miss Universe reign in 2015. He argued that the "stolen contacts" allegation, which has persisted for over a year, is a fabricated attempt to discredit Wurtzbach.

To support his claims, Soriano pointed out Wurtzbach's impressive credentials in the fashion world. She has walked the runway in New York Fashion Week and attended numerous fashion shows since her Miss Universe win. He highlighted her connections with industry leaders such as Imran Amed, founder and CEO of The Business of Fashion, and Natalia Vodianova, a renowned model and wife of Dior executive Antoine Arnault.

Despite Soriano's efforts to set the record straight, some social media users raised concerns about previous statements made by Wurtzbach's husband, Jeremy Jauncey, who had suggested that she lacked "network" or "opportunities" in the fashion industry. Soriano addressed these contradictions, explaining that Jauncey was initially unaware of the connections Wurtzbach had formed through her charitable work and professional endeavors.

He asserted that Wurtzbach and Jauncey are not the type of people to exploit others for personal gain. Soriano emphasized their commitment to building their careers through hard work and genuine connections rather than relying on shortcuts or unethical practices.

In addition to defending Wurtzbach, Soriano also addressed rumors about a falling out with stylist Jeck Aguilar, which had been linked to his involvement with Wurtzbach. He denied that financial matters were the cause of their disagreement and clarified that they have since resolved the issue.

Wurtzbach's recent participation in the L'Oréal Paris fashion show at Paris Fashion Week further solidified her position in the fashion industry. Her appearance alongside renowned models and celebrities showcased her global appeal and recognition as a prominent figure in the world of beauty and fashion.
