Cavaliers Extend Perfect Start to 14-0

Donovan Mitchell led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 144-126 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night, extending their perfect start to the season to 14-0. Mitchell poured in a season-high 37 points, while Darius Garland added 29.

This historic run places the Cavaliers in elite company, as they join only five other teams in NBA history to start a season 14-0. The last team to achieve this feat was the Golden State Warriors in 2015-16.

Cleveland's 14-game winning streak is the longest in franchise history, surpassing the 13-game streaks they had during LeBron James' tenure. First-year head coach Kenny Atkinson has guided the team to this impressive start, with contributions from Jarrett Allen (24 points) and Caris LeVert (22 points).

The Bulls, led by Coby White's 29 points and Nikola Vucevic's 25 points, kept the game close until the final minutes. However, a late surge by the Cavaliers, fueled by Mitchell and LeVert's three-pointers, sealed the deal.

Despite missing starting forward Evan Mobley, the Cavaliers continue to dominate both at home and on the road. Their high-energy play and strong team chemistry have been key factors in their success under Atkinson's leadership.
