Logan Paul's Prank Backfires: BBC Exposes Crypto Controversy

Logan Paul, the controversial YouTuber, has once again found himself at the center of controversy. On November 20, the BBC published an investigative report detailing allegations of misleading his fans about cryptocurrency investments over the past few years.

The BBC's investigation revealed that Paul initially refused to be interviewed, but later agreed to meet with journalists at his gym in Puerto Rico. However, upon arrival, the BBC crew was greeted by Rodney Peterson, a Logan Paul lookalike who had gained popularity on TikTok. A day later, Paul admitted to orchestrating the prank, controlling Peterson's responses through an earpiece.

The BBC also reported receiving a lawyer's letter from Paul threatening legal action if they published their findings.

This incident adds to a long list of controversies surrounding Paul's involvement in the cryptocurrency world. He has been repeatedly accused of scamming fans through various projects, including CryptoZoo, a non-fungible token (NFT) project that was widely criticized as a scam.

YouTube crypto investigator Coffeezilla played a significant role in exposing these alleged scams. After investigating several of Paul's projects, Coffeezilla concluded that they were fraudulent and that Paul was directly involved.

In response to Coffeezilla's allegations, Paul initially denied wrongdoing but later agreed to refund $1.3 million to those affected by the failed CryptoZoo project. However, he subsequently filed a defamation lawsuit against Coffeezilla, claiming that the YouTuber's investigative series had caused "immense harm" to his reputation.

As the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how this latest incident will impact Paul's career and reputation.
