Actress Nadine Lustre and her boyfriend, Christophe Bariou, have teamed up to launch Dehusk, a new plant-based milk brand. The couple is passionate about animal rights and sustainability, and they aim to disrupt the dairy industry with their cruelty-free, eco-friendly product.
In an Instagram post, Lustre expressed her enthusiasm for the project, highlighting her love for animals and the planet. She emphasized their commitment to fighting against animal cruelty, particularly within the dairy industry.
“It represents everything I stand for: my love for animals, for the people, for our country, and my fight against injustice and animal cruelty—especially from the dairy industry, which we are here to disrupt,” Lustre wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday.
Bariou, a Filipino-French entrepreneur, echoed these sentiments, stressing the importance of raising awareness about the harmful practices of the dairy industry. He emphasized their dedication to a more sustainable future for both humans and animals.
“Nadine and I are fully committed to fighting animal cruelty and exposing the inhumane practices of the dairy industry, while working toward a more sustainable, healthier, and mindful future—for humans, animals, and our environment alike,” the Filipino-French entrepreneur wrote.
Dehusk offers a plant-based milk alternative that is free of lactose, dairy, and gluten. The brand is committed to providing a healthier and more environmentally friendly option for consumers.
